AFRIN – Mehmud Berxwedan, Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said: “We have begun our revolutionary operation against the invading forces.”
SDF Commander Mehmud Berxwedan announced that they were launching a Revolutionary Operation against the invading Turkish army and their gangs in Afrin. “We have begun our revolutionary operation against the invading forces,” Berxwedan said, speaking on Stêrk TV.
“The YPG/YPJ and SDF fighters launched an operation in the evening on the areas where the enemy infiltrated,” Berxwedan said of the Turkish occupation forces’ attempts to infiltrate the Rajo line.
Berxwedan continued: “The operation is still going on. Hedima, Shadiya and some other villages are a part of the operation. There are also violent conflicts in Sorkê village. Comrades have launched a comprehensive attack. The occupiers were pushed out from the area with a special operation carried out in all the regions where the enemy infiltrated into the Rajo line.”
Noting that the operation continued to expand, Berxwedan said: “The village of Shingêlê, where the enemy claimed to have taken control, was also controlled by an operation. The operation is still going on. Wherever the gangs of the Turkish state and soldiers have infiltrated, the operation continues against them. We will declare the results of the operation in the following hours. Our revolutionary operation continues against the invading forces.”
